Dr. iQ has been developed to operate on mobile phone devices. This includes mobile devices that support an iOS (Apple) or Android (e.g. Samsung, Google etc) operating system. Each of these operating systems requires our development team to develop and maintain an additional version of Dr. iQ. We also have a web platform for our staff that enables them to manage incoming requests from patients. So in total, we have 3 platforms and versions of Dr. iQ that our tech development team maintain and provides ongoing development for. Dr. iQ is possible to access on tablet devices also, but has not been designed or optimised for use on tablets – this would be a fourth (or potentially fifth if we count Apple and Android tablets individually) platform, and there is significant development work required to be able to offer a tablet version. Therefore we do not promote the use of Dr. iQ on tablet devices, though we do recognise that some patients would like to access Dr. iQ on a larger screen. Our tech development team have planned a web version of Dr. iQ for this purpose, this is currently on the roadmap for development later in 2023 – again this is a significant undertaking, though we too would like to be able to offer this to patients in future and will keep you updated as we learn about progress from our tech development team.
If you feel that your experience of using Dr. iQ falls below your expectations, please let us know at support@dr-iq.com. We’d love to hear from you and will do our best to support your needs.
